I've always wished you could capture music in a photograph. I'd love to see any pictures people have if you've managed to interpret music into a photo in some way (Email me). Perhaps people dancing, or someone playing an instrument? My best interpretation to date is through light reflections thrown off the CD in coloured rays. Imagine the sweet tunes those colours hold.

317: Up up in the sky
Tried to snare some of the Valley's more historic architecture this afternoon. This spot in town caught my eye as a whole bunch of birds were swooping and playing around the top of the building. I only caught a few of them, but the mix of sky and building came together as great composition - especially with the deep splash of colours and just a smiggen of typography down the bottom.

252: Old world charm
Zurich's streets are lined with amazing buildings like these ones, it was the great colours here caught my eye. It's been wonderful exploring this beautiful city by foot and by bicycle and as you can see the weather is perfect for it! I love the shutters found on almost everyone's windows, a final touch, attention to detail! Zurich city has bucket lots of old world charm.

161: Old crafty piece
Today when I was driving home I noticed the girl in the car next to me had a little beaded heart hanging from her rearview mirror. It reminded me that I still had a mat made from the same kind of plastic beads at home and how fun and easy they used to be to make (place beads on spiky plastic board, cover with alfoil, iron and voila). So I had a rummage around and now the mat has a proud place on my desk. I love the bright but soft fading colours caught in this photo and the strong contrast against the dark wood.

072: Pretty sky
This gorgeous coloured sky caught my eye when I got home this afternoon. I love the way the clouds spread themselves throughout the sky and the lovely warm peachy tones of the setting sun. It actually reminded me of the sky and clouds in the opening credits of the simpsons episodes. Bit random but still very pretty. I'd also just like to wish my friend Tegan a very happy birthday :) Hope you've had a super day.

070: Big Burgers

At the moment my flat mate and I are on a bit of a meal health kick. But I kicked it aside tonight to give the newly opened Grill'd burger joint, just down my street, a go. As usual a large menu proves many, many choices and big burgers prove that still 3 hours later I'm totally stuffed! This was my "hot mama" burger, a hot beast with some hot colours captured for a hot photo. Phew!

008: Tokidoki Stylin'

A sneak preview of my new bike, that my super boyfirend Ben restored for me from a pile of junk we found on the side of the road! We really should have taken a before shot, just so you could see how bad it was, but we got it home and Ben was so keen to start he had it in pieces before I could even whip the camera out. I got to choose the new colours: lime green and black of course, makes for a gangster ride and the final touch will be my Tokidoki sticker, very conveniently also lime green and black. Can't wait to get it out on a ride.
