285: Special delivery

When I noticed Frankie was selling their first ever 'photo album' I couldn't resist diving in with my card and treating myself. Much to my excitement and not too many sleeps later, I was delighted to find this gorgeous book in my letter box. Mmmm, pages of inspiring and pretty photographs from around the world in a very delicious Frankie style. Maybe one day one of my photos will be in a future edition!

202: Happy watering

A quick little arty snap at Black Dove this evening. Even their watering can is pretty. I was pleasantly surprised with the light and shadow brought up in the picture.

176: Pretty detail

Who doesn't like something pretty hanging in their bathroom! We thought it would be a nice idea to use the towel rack next to the sink to hang our long necklaces from. Turns out, easy access, much fewer tangles and a pretty little detail to spark up the room.

039: By candle light

I popped a few candles in the bathroom this evening for a nice relaxing change. Would be a teensy bit nicer if I had a bath tub (you know one of those old ones with the claw feet) but you make the most of what you've got. Thought the soft glow would make a pretty picture too!

038: Mmmm cupcakes

Isn't this one of the most delicious and pretty cupcakes you've ever seen? Candi treated us to a box of 5 of these gorgeous things when she spotted the new store, Cup-a-cake, at Chermside Shopping centre. We were spoilt for choice with Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter, Peppermint, Caramel and Carrot Cake. I was shocked and delighted when I found out the whole box was only $10, a steal compared to some of the other cupcake stores around. So I just had to capture a little piece of cupcake heaven before they got gobbled up. I'm also in love with the macro setting on my camera right now, so the close ups are rolling in.

017: Across a meadow

I decided today's theme should be wide open spaces since I was taking a trip out to Beaudesert to visit Holly in her brand spanking new hair salon. So I thought I'd take advantage of some pretty scenery on the way home. My favourite thing about this photo is the way it's captured the movement in the grass blowing in the breeze and the sun glistening on the lens!
