278: Dandelion metamorphous

I mentioned last weekend that I would come back to the garden shrubbery - so here I am. Love that in this photo all 3 stages of the dandelions' life have been captured. On a brilliantly sunny day, perfect for drying clothes, just under the washing line grows this little patch: new dandelion buds, sunny yellow flowery ones and in their final stages tufty white globes, just waiting to be blown away by little children.

270: Blowing in the breeze

I just pottered around my backyard this afternoon looking for today's daily snapshot. While these little buds are probably weeds, I still think they can be photographed to look arty and pretty in light breeze and setting afternoon light.

236: Ahhh England

Ahh England, everything about this shot reminds me of my childhood here. Peeping through the white window into a garden filled with summer light, still, at 9pm in the evening! The garden green, dotted with flowers and in this case a big yellow sunflower. I was supposed to be asleep, but the sunlight still shone into my room, filling me with desire to be outside playing like the older children I could hear. But today sleepy time has come my friends, as I am still catching up on sleep from my travels. I must snooze, but will be back tomorrow with more overseas delights!

116: Outdoors

Yep you guessed it. Next issue of Frankie arrived in my mailbox this week and what a lovely way to devour it. On this sunny afternoon Bentley and I just chilled outdoors, on a towel and beanbag him with a bone and me with my mag. Delicious!

060: Puppy playtime

Every Aussie kid has memories of playing in the sprinkler in the garden on hot summers days. I thought this was cute as Bentley got in on the action with Dad watering his newly laid turf and made some puppy memories himself.
