328: Bday

Today is my friend Samantha's birthday. So many warm birthday wishes to you my dear. What better way to make an ecard than doodle a little picture on a post it, photograph it and email it off. Lovely, simple and effective. It even got prime spot on her desktop - just for today :)

309: Birthdays

A nice follow on from yesterday's photo - however this time the lighter had a purpose. Lighting the candles on Ben and my birthday cake! An indulgent chocolate and raspberry delight (thanks Mum!) mMmm delicious. My birthday isn't actually until tomorrow and Ben's the day after but with such a busy weekend already planned we took tonight off to celebrate with our families. A lovely evening :) It's a little bit special too that we (almost) share a birthday - always a fun 48 hours!

235: Warm birthday wishes

So today has been Aunty Penny's birthday celebrations and thanks to my Uncle we have been treated to a culinary feast (with a little help from Jamie and Nigella)! A delicious, warm and exciting family occasion round the dining table and all the decorations and settings to go with it. I didn't know where to point my camera first. But this angle caught my eye and with the wine glasses merrily filled and the beautiful china it made for a fabulous shot. Happy birthday Aunty Penny, it's great to be here.

Mmmm Mmm pancakes for breakie tomorrow morning, for Miss Candi's birthday. Just been preparing the mix so I don't have to get up too early. Yum, can't wait!

Doesn't this just look amazing? I was lucky enough to be invited out to lunch at the recently renovated and successfully reviewed Sails, Redcliffe for Dad's birthday today. So happy birthday Dad! I hope you enjoyed your bugs as much as I enjoyed the prawns and thanks Mum for making a great choice. This little portion of beach and park along Sutton's Beach was a lovely find and served up some great photos for me today. It was quite hard to pick which 1 photo to use in this spot but I couldn't go past this one for the bright and sunny colours.
