244: White dove

Dad found this little white bird posing for me in a tunnel in Warwick today. A great find! There was a few of them nesting in the gaps between the stones, but this one looks poised and ready for departure. He was happy to sit a little bit longer while I fired off a few photos of him. Love the contrast between the dim stones and pristine white feathers. I hazard a guess that it's a dove, but am no bird expert (like I'm no flower expert) and it may in fact be a white pigeon, if they exist?

085: In a spilt second

This bird landed on the washing line just as i pulled into the driveway this evening. I realised what a good shot it could make, especially with the colour of the sky in the background. I quickly scrambled for my camera but knew that if I got out the bird would probably fly away. So I just wound down the car window and took the best shot I could from where I was sitting. Pretty happy with how it turned out, I think it's the silhouette part that I like.

003: A wee bit of birdspotting

This tiny little bird was flitting around outside my bathroom window with a few of his mates. Quite hard to capture as they moved so fast but I was chuffed that I caught this guy when he paused for a breather.
